Hi linda and crew, great to hear that the forum is going ahead. Feedback re: workshops as follows:
1) too short time frame. participants and tutors were harrassed in achieving little in short time frame.
2) workshop spaces were quite crowded
3) notes/handouts were very beneficial. not all tutors did this
4)tea/coffee in workshop would save time
5)all venues need to be air-con
6) id prefer set materials supplied by tutor. lugging around a tonne of stuff that i barely used was tiring in the hot weather.
7) trade show was great!
8) fashion parade was great!
9) quality of tutors was great!

Hi Crimson, great to hear from you and thanks for your wonderful feedback! You will be pleased to know that the IMF committee has analysed all feedback from the 2007 event and will take necessary action to ensure the 2009 event is bigger and better than 2007. The 2009 program will be extended by one day to allow for longer workshops; we are sourcing a new venue and at the top of the selection criteria is air-con; and, we are looking into supply of materials to make it easier on delegates. I am sure the tea and coffee can be arranged!
Glad you enjoyed your experience in Feb 07 and look forward to seeing you again in 09.
