International Millinery Forum 2011

After a well earned rest (working on many other projects!) I am extremely excited about the planning of the next International Millinery Forum!
15-22 January 2011
The focus of this forum will remain on professionalism and TOP QUALITY millinery tutors, with some tweaking and refining of the program and logistics to ensure we are ofering you what you want.
Following your feedback we will commit to:
>Ensuring workshop material lists are appropriate and include essential items only; we will be looking into kits and methods of making this process easier for all delegates (particuarly those who travel by plane!).
>Improving the skill level system to prevent delegates registering for workshops above or below their capabilities. We are looking at a checklist system, whereby delegates have to complete the checklist to determone what skill level they fall into (this will need to be submitted with registration forms).
>Introducing varying length workshops according to the skill level and technique. This means we will have a range of 1-2 day workshops for intermediates, a couple of 3 day workshops for beginners and a range of 1/2 - 1 day workshops for advanced delegates. This will make the registration process a little more complex but we will ensure it is hassle free for you!
Keep an eye on this blog for regular updates and news about the planning and preparation of the 2011 forum and i look forward to seeing you again soon!
Linda

So I realize this is a little odd but i have a request...apparently my Russian Great Grandmother was a milliner in Hollywood around the 20's. Any suggestions on how to possibly find her? Vera Chiniaeff is the name I know. I am not sure if she worked for someone or not...Just thought I would try.
Thank you for your time...

Hello I live in Atlanta, Ga. and I can't wait to visit Australia. Well I started designing hats myself, how do I get my name out there? What do it take to become a Millinery?
