Meet the Tutors #7 and #8


Introducing…Jan Wutowski
Jan is a US milliner who studied at the Melbourne School of Millinery. She is the owner of women’s boutique, aMuse : artisanal finery, in Wilmington, North Carolina which specialises in one-off women’s hats, bridal headwear and hair accessories. 

Jan has been teaching millinery since 1998, primarily at leading fibre art galleries and art and craft schools throughout the United States. She has also taught in England and just recently in France.

Jan’s creations have been featured in numerous fashion shows, photo shoots and fashion editorials.
Jan will be running workshops on dyeing and making your own blocks for fascinators and small form hats.

Introducing…Pam Martin
Reigning from the host city, Pam is a milliner from Wagga Wagga who designs hats under the Izziana Image label and also to satisfy the millinery habit of her daughters!
Pam first began experimenting and creating with wire by sculpting large wire urns to use as focal points in rooms in her large country garden. Her interests turned from garden design to hat design to coincide with the development of her daughter’s image consulting business.
Pam will be running a workshop on working with wire.
